Project
“Seeds of Change: Empowering women and promoting climate resilience in Lamahi, Nepal” is a project that empowers women in the rural community of Lamahi to actively shape the future of their families and their region. In a country where many women have limited opportunities due to traditional role models, this is precisely where we come in. Our project aims to empower 150 women through training in sustainable agriculture, financial management and business management. We promote the cultivation of organic products and the use of climate-resistant seed varieties in order to ensure food security and sustainably increase income.
The women not only become experts in the agricultural sector, but also role models and leaders in their communities. By setting up small businesses, they create new sources of income and can provide economic security for their families. At the same time, they actively contribute to combating climate change by learning and applying environmentally friendly farming methods.
“Seeds of Change” is more than just a project – it is an impetus for sustainable change that will have a long-term economic and social impact on over 750 people in Lamahi. Together, we are investing in a future where women are not just companions of change, but pioneers of it.
