Our Projects
Although health care is officially free of charge in Nepal, there is a lack of health centers, doctors and access to medicines, especially in more remote areas. Even those who are seriously ill or heavily pregnant might have to walk a day to be examined. In addition, lack of hygiene, malnutrition and superstition also play a role in the transmission of diseases. Women’s health and pregnancy in particular are still a taboo subject, which often translates into high mother-child mortality.
Therefore, we are committed to building infrastructure and offering WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) and health workshops for the population to provide better education.
