Project
Our Digital Education project has been launched in 19 public schools across the municipalities of Jaleshwor, Mithila, and Chandrapur (all in Madhesh province). Its aim is to redefine learning experiences across rural Nepal by introducing innovative and technology enabled learning solutions in under-served communities. This transformation marks a significant leap toward educational equity, especially in regions where access to quality education and modern learning tools remains limited.
In collaboration with local governments, we equip classrooms with essential digital infrastructure such as laptops, projectors, smart TVs, and reliable internet connectivity, laying the technological foundation necessary for digital learning. This enables schools that previously lacked modern resources to transform into vibrant, tech-enabled learning spaces. Simultaneously, local teachers receive professional training from expert instructors on how to effectively integrate digital tools into their lesson plans, enhancing both teaching practices and student engagement.
The project is grounded in the belief that every child deserves access to quality education regardless of geography. Virtual connectivity allows students from remote and diverse communities to collaborate and learn together, transcending physical boundaries. Moreover, educators from any part of the country can conduct virtual classes, offering students access to expert guidance that was previously unimaginable in these rural contexts.
Beyond technological access, the project empowers students to develop critical digital skills, enhance their problem-solving abilities, and cultivate a mindset geared toward innovation and lifelong learning. By integrating these competencies into the curriculum, the initiative equips students with the confidence to compete and thrive in an increasingly digital and globalized world.
