Corona Relief Vorarlberg

Unfortunately, the current situation in Nepal is much more dramatic than during the first wave.

That is why seven people from Vorarlberg have joined forces to start an emergency aid campaign.
These are Sabine Klotz (Chay Ya Austria), Eric Leitner (Rokpa Austria), Wolfgang Bartl (Let the children walk), Theo Fritsche, Dr. Klaus Zitt, as well as the native Nepalese Maya and her husband Elmar Müller.

Together, the initiatives call for donations for the most necessary things in the quarantine stations (protective suits, masks, medicines, beds, etc.) and for food packages.

As of April 10, 2021, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 279,725, with 2,800 active cases (for comparison, there were 21,830 in October 2020, and only 911 on March 1, 2021) and 3,039 deaths. As before, these figures certainly do not reflect the whole truth, as the testing rate has been reduced even further. Plus, we are concerned about the figures from neighboring India, where record numbers of newly infected and corona deaths are currently being measured.
